Will 18's fit on my 1G GSX? I'm not sure about the whole offset thing, still learning, but I'm looking into some of these wheels, was probably gonna run a 225 tire. Anyone have any suggestions or advice? (the car is lowered about 1.5" from what it looks like, it was lowered already when I bought it).

etc...

What should I be looking for when shopping for a 18" wheel/tire combo?

Oh, by the way if anyone knows of a good reliable site besides tirerack and discount tire that will ship wheels and tires to an APO (military) address, please shoot me a link!

Thanks,
Jason

i used to have 18s on my 1g lowered 2 inches or more with no problems. the wheels with tires on were no higher than my 16s because i went with a lower profile tire. So i would suggest you do that as well. not sure about the other places that ship to aop addresses, but good luck

Got 18" O.Z on my car and they fit good. 18x8, Offset 40, 225-40-18 and im lowered on eibach sportline , so you should be ok. I got pics in my profile

I have 17" wheels on my 1g gsx and there is quite a bit of a wheel gap still. although my car is not lowered. you can see pics in my gallery to get an idea what 17" would look like but i would go with 18"

Im running a 18x8 wheel with 235/40/18" tires and I dont have any problems. Im unsure of the offset but the fronts are flush with the fender.
