Hey, I was finally able to buy a digital camera so that I could take some pics of my custom painted interior. Let me know what you think.

P.S. Don't mind the duck tape, my roof's falling down and I had to do something about it, "Duck tape fixes everything":thumb: , well almost everything.

what brand of interior paint, color, time it took?

are those inteior neon lights i see?

I bought the paint at autozone. It is an all-purpose paint or something like that. I also used a adhesion promoter, which is also sold at autozone. I didn't spend that much money, no more than $25 for 3 cans of paint and 2 of the adhesive promoter. Because I go to school, then after school I go to work, I don't have that much free time so it took me to do the paint job about 2 weeks, but that's only working 30mins a day. I guess it could be then in about 3 days, because you have to put the first coat in, then let it dry for one day, put the second coat in, let it dry and then you can put all the pieces together.

By the way, yes those are interior neon lights, which I really like and I only payed $10 for it.

Here's a view from the driver's side. By the way, that NOS steering wheel cover and mat are going out, I bought them way back because they matched my seat covers.

Your interior actually looks really nice, especially with the neon. Good job. The neon is even tasteful on your car.

BUT... the NOS and APC stuff should really hit the floor man.. for real.

Turbosporttalon: Hey thanks man. I put a lot of work into customizing my interior. I know about the NOS steering wheel and mats but I'll just wait to take them off until I buy a real racing steering wheel. I'm about the take the stickers off but, right now my car is not working (transmission quit working for the 2nd time).

greathuskie: The paint I used said to let it dry at least 1 hour, but for better results let it dry for a day.

I like it too FamousGunner. I respect the fact that you are hardworking and are trying to really pull everything together. Keep up the good work. Styling Concepts have nice steering wheels for $49-$80 plus I think you will need an adapter kit to install on a our cars. I want to paint my dash a shade of silver and install reverse Indiglo Gauges. Ebay has them for $55.
Job well done!!:thumb:

Thank you all for you commentaries. I really appreciate it, because I put a lot of work into customizing my interior and I still have some more parts I have to put back together. As you all have seen my interior I have a question. I'm thinking of putting in colored gauges but I'm not sure if it would look good, and if you think it would look, what colors would you suggest??

Thank you greathuskie. If anybody has a better temporary solution for my headliner problem are welcomed to share it with me, thank you.
Flat thumb tacks dude!!

go to pep boys and get some headliner adhesive junk (it was spray on adhesive). we fixed my buds a year ago. still holds

I had actually purchased a 4x6 sheet of black vinyl at the fabric store. (Kinda looks like leather..) I took the headliner down and used autopart store headliner adhesive and glued the black vinyl to that and then trimmed it. Put it back in, and it looks pretty good. Also good for covering that ugly padding on the doors arm rest. Cost was about 15.00 for everything.

I tried taking down my headliner to fix it and it was all styrafoam (damn i never realized how i dont know how to spell that) and it all fell to pieces. Now I have a nice red metal ceiling in my car....:|
