Hello, I was just wondering today my car dosnt have the GS-T sticker on the back i gues it was removen because I bought it secound hand but how can you tell that it is a GS-T. I don't know much about cars so I can't tell.

-Thanks Mike

High Rise Spoiler. 16 inch chromies with the red diamond insignia in the center.

When in doubt, look under the hood.

Pop the hood and look for a turbo?

;)

the way that best fits your description would probably be to position yourself at the rear of the car facing the car, and look for a small sticker in the upper righthand corner of the rear that has the letters "GST" on it. This means that your car has a turbocharger in it and that is all.

you mean you have no idea what kind of car you bought?

How could you not know? look on the title it will say gs rs gst gsx.. Is your valve cover black or gray?

I believe the valve cover is gray but it needs some degreaser for me to tell for sure but it is not black. The GS-T sticker is not on the back, there is no sticker. I checked the VIN # and it says GS-T turbo but I am still not sure I don't see a turbo gauge. If someone could show me a pic of the turbo guage.

you can have all that and have it still be a GS in 1999

Look on the cluster. If there is a oil pressure/boost gauge then you have a turbo. If' your gauge just has like water temp/gas then you have a N/T. Also look at the way your intake is. If it's on the right then you have a N/T, if it's on the left then you have a turbo. The motor is flipped 180 N/T vs. turbo. And like everyone else said....look right beside your mani there should be a turbo LOL. :D

You don't recognize a boost guage or the 4g63 as opposed to the 420a??? Wow.

How bout this, look how many guages are on the dash, other than the speedometer and tach how many needles are there? If it's 2 then it's a non turbo, if it's 4 then it's a turbo.

haha, yeah i know, i broke it down more easy for him though, instead of identifying the gauges, I just asked how many. If you don't know what a boost gauge is, you might not know any other gauge on there either, haha.

here does it look exactly like this ? see the gauge to the far bottom left thats the "turbo" gauge just to the right of it is the oil pressure gauge and to the far right side....there gas and temp.....this is a turbo cluster....take a look or go drive your moms car then drive yours.....which is faster ?

are you retarded?

No, but apparently you are because he clearly stated that there was no gst sticker on his car, and what do you advise him to do? Look for a gs-t sticker on his car....

you are obviously a sheltered little boy if you cant see the AMAZINGLY APPARANT sarcasm in my post... ;)

Obviously, yes there was some sarcasm in the matter you presented your answer. The point is the answer itself was totally irrelevant to his situation.

here is the easiest way. does your engine more look like this?

or more like this

This first one is from a Gs or an Rs. the second one is from a GST or GSX.

If you checked the VIN and it says GST, then why are you doubting it? The VIN is there for a reason bro.

look on ur insurance certificate and your registration...If ur vin said it was a gst why wouldnt it be??? Im sure u have a gst. so you bought the car not knowing if it was turbo or not let alone which model it was?? WOW

Thank you all for your reply's after someone said the intake was to the left it is a turbo. I have a GS-T turbo. I never really looked at the guages on the bottom and they show a pic of a turbo.

-Thanks Mike
