If money is no object, then go for #3.. They go for $450+, but look damn good, especially on a red car

well if you think they are cheap then I guess thats what you think.

You get both positive and negative from it....

Now those look hot, in my opinion CF tails on a dark colored car is nice but with a painted center peice. Have you thought about doing that? Like just painting the center peice to match your car, that one mod will change the over all look of the rear. :thumb: :talon:

Yeah if the money is right, then go with the european tail lights, they are rare around my neck of the woods. I wish i had the money to grab a pair. $450 :thumbdown

Personally i kinda dont like the eruos (red with yellow). I messes with my black, red and cf scheme

My first choice is the Altezzas but not the cf-"look" housing but rather the black jdm style. The only part of the tails i want CF is the center peice.

I still dunno if i want to just smokeout the stock tails.

I think since you have a red car, just keep the stock red tails and have the ECLIPSE removed, then the rear is all rear, looks great!! :thumb:

Anyone know where to get those euro lights. I love the look. I have never seen those before. What are they called, "euro style"? Where might I find some? I didn't see any on e-bay :dsm: :thumb: :dsm:

OMG doh, I just saw the sticky.......let me rephrase. Do you know where I can get a pair for around $400

ahhhhhh what are JDM style lights?
JDM = Japanese domestic Market

In japan they have parts that differ from the US style. If you look at a IS300, the tail-lights are chrome housing around a red circle light. On japanese IS300's(a.k.a Altezzas ) ive seen the same design but instead of the chrome its a black housing.

I know what JDM, but we have no JDM stuff for the 2G yo, hence the sarcasm.

If i were to get those tails I would paint em to match the car! :thumb:

I agree with painting center section to match car paintjob, but on his car, since it's all red + tail lights + center section red, I just think it will look kind of weird to me. Haven't seen it still, but dunno.

As you said, Euro-lites on dark colored cars look hot, as long as they are not Altezzas :barf:

I was just explaining just in case others didnt understand :thumb: ...

Other than that i was just trying to explain the stupid folks decision to put JDM style on the pic. I got that pic from ebay so that kinda shows how smart the vendors on there are :p

Its funny, Eclipse owners want those JDM Amber Tails, yet it seems like most Talon owners want to get rid of the amber in their tails.

If you had to get something other than stock, I'd go with choice 3.

The "Euro-tail" look or the carbon-fiber tails might not look good on a red car. See if you can find someone to photoshop some in for you, then you can get a better idea of what you want before you go blowing your money.

I dunno... I don't really like the idea of clear taillights, but that last one (the one without the middle section) isn't too bad.

I still don't know... I think clear taillights are annoying, ricey, and otherwise ugly, but to each his own.
