Hose Techniques

I saw the kits they make for the 2nd Gens, and they look good, but I don't think it is worth the money to be honest. So here is my question, anyone know what size and how much hose you would need to do the same thing? I would think a home made kit would be cheaper, so if anyone has done this please post some info. Roadrace Engineering has a complete hose kit its called the Larson kit I believe.

I looked on RRE couldn't find anything, and yes I know I could get hose on ebay, but what ID do I need? Thanks for the replies.
