What speakers?

Hey, i know nothing about about car audio. Now that we have that out of the way, I want to put something in my car that will sound nice, but weigh little. I want there to be some bass, but I really dont want so much, because after a certain point....my chest hurts and I feel like Im ready to have a heart attack..... so what speakers do you all recommend? Any help would be grand.

If you're looking for just some extra bass, I would say to try going to www.crutchfield.com and looking for their Basooka EL Amplified Bass Tubes. They have the amp and the sub all in one package. The RS tubes have a louder output, but if you're looking for just enough to add that extra "punch" to your music thats what I'd tell you to get. They're light weight, they're small, and can be installed to your factory OR after market radio. The ELs run from 199.95 to 299.95 depending on how big the subwoofer is. Check those out!

go to best buy and get one 10 in a hatchback box, just one now, i have two in a bandpass box and have to keep my amp turned 3/4 of the way down b/c it sounds like #@%#@%#@%#@% i hate alot of bass but i got a good deal on the subs and box.

there is a sub and box package deal, look at the us acoustics amps they have they are the best for the money

yea im just lookin for better sound quality. as far as bass, i want something punchy and quick/fast. Seeing as how i listen to a lot of hardcore music instead of rap.

same here that is why i sugested one 10 in a regular box i have had smaller and they dont sound good enough, i listen to #@%#@%#@%#@% like punk, black metal, and hardcore
