Ideas for custom sub enclosure

I need some ideas for a custom sub box. here are the rules:

1. has to be made out of wood
2. has to leave enough room in front of the box for a small stroler.
3. has to be removable so i can get into the spare tire well

It will have 2 Audiobahn AW1006Q's in it, and it will be sealed. I just need some help on some ideas for the design...

just buy a box, mines sealed plenty of room comes out in less then 5 min (have to unhook wires)

What kind of air space is needed for your subs ? You could fit them into the space behind the rear wheel wells, but would require some fiberglass work ( not too hard ). Take out the panels, cover with duct tape, get fiberglass and go nuts. Attach the wood box portion to this mold and your done ( more or less ). JL has one similar to this ( maybe MTX ), and this design would give you alot of usable space. If not, build wide like a truck box. I prefer firing back towards the rear of the car. Supposedly each surface bass waves are deflected off of gains 3 db. Good Luck.

Here's what I did:

I love the sound quality of my MDF box, ive never had an issue with it, it's tuned for my sub, but I didn't like how it took up my entire trunk. So I hacked out the spare tire mount, then cut a hole the exact size of my box in the "floor" (that strange wood/cardboard crap) and essentially "sunk" my sub. Now I have tons of room, and still maintain my old box...actually it has a cool effect, because people wonder how i get good sound out of a box that only appears to be a bout 4" tall.

I'm not finished though, I am seriously considering making a fiberglass cover to go over the box, to blend everything together nicely. This way the glass doesnt have to be sealed or anything, and I can put some nice smooth curves in it to really blend in with the surrounding interior panels...I might even blend in a mount for an N20 bottle or something....eh just ideas....but I dont know it worked well for me you may not want to do that, just another idea....I have pics if you want them.
