new front bumper ?

ok, I am currently installing a new front bumper (it's the blitz body kit, I know its not the best but it's the only in urethane that I like ) Anyway, my problem is that I'm not sure if I'm supposed to remove the front bumper support bar or not. I'm pretty sure you do b/c it sticks out on the side front holes, but other people told me not to remove it. What should I do?

my front bumper looked like it was sawed off, any support brackets were removed for my invader front bumper. Then simply made holes on both sides, used a nut and bolt to secure it on. Then used the fittings under the hood to support the front.

I had the same problem with my front. Many people get rid of the bumper support but, I decided to keep the bumper support and just cut it to fit my bumper. It wasn't too hard and it is safer. The shop that painted my car said that they couldn't legally let me drive it away without the support so they painted it black for me. I was going to take it out since I can't put grill in the clip because of it......but then that would be unsafe.....and I'm actually to lazy to put grill in it....so I still have it. I feel alot safer with it though.
