do i need one that fits a turbo? mines a GS and i ordered one of ebay and it doesn't fit the strut bolts and it is for 95-99 NT:confused:

Do you have it on backwards.? I know with my spyder, I had to cut the battery stud that is on the shock tower and install a bolt farther back so that I could get the tower bar on.

could you post a pic of it? i tried to attach the drivers side bracket and only 2 nuts would go back on

i got it on...had to do some "persuading" to make it work but i guess thats what you get for buying a cheap strut bar...LOL

yeah i had to remove that bolt but then it was still off...had to attach the bar by the battery and then pull it onto the otherside and put the bolt through...its on there tight thats for sure....LOL

Let's see a pic, I ordered a cheapo one off ebay too, but haven't gotten it yet, should get it in a day or two. I figured if it sucks at least I didn't pay too much for it, so no big loss.

heres mine...i had to cut off the battery tie down bolt also and it was still way off when i mounted on that side so i had to pull the bar towards the driver door and put it into the mounting slots on the other strut brace ring.

Its a Pilot Motorsport strutbar from a regular GST and it was bolt on no problem at all.

Jaxon23 you put the brackets on wrong. The little semi-circle cutout is for the battery tower brace bolt. look at eurogstspyders. if you can't tell you have it on wrong ask him to post a pic of his strut towers to see.

Put mine in over the weekend. Took it out of the box and it seemed really strong, so I figured I lucked out. Put it on with no problems (other than the bolts were a little tight), didn't have to make any modifications. But once it was on I could tell it wasn't as strong. If you push on it it bends a little. So I'm not sure that it is really going to do anything. I didn't notice much driving with it on. I may just eventually get the GReddy one instead now that I see how easy it is to put on. It literally took me maybe 5 minutes.
