What??? The grilles? Do you have enough room to get the speakers out w/o hitting the windshield? Are the stock speakers 3 1/2's?

I JUST sent my KICKER K35 ( 3.5" ) back. The dash speaker are not 3.5" speakers. They are some off size. I thought I'd be able to make something work, after about a day of thinking and trying I gave up and took it to a Professional Stereo shop I trust in my area and they said NOWAY without cutting dash.
So I'm going to repurchase 1" tweeters that I had already returned befor I returned my 3.5", cause I thought I'd get those 3.5" in thier. I'll just suspend them in thier from the stock grills. Thats wait the shop said they would do if I let them do it.
I think the stock were something like 2 5/8th's.
Good luck......

Nah, I'm disconnecting them and leaving them alone. I have the tweets on the triangle near the side mirror, 5 1/4's in the doors, and will put 6x9's in the rear. That and my sub will be just fine.
