Tint Exemption

Was just wondering if anyone has gotten or has a tint exemption. The legal tint in my state is 70% and i have 50% for wondering if i could bullsh*t my way to an exemption. Oh and it 70% in the front anything goes in the back. Any insight would be helpful thanks in advance.

Was pulled over/ticketed for limo tint on the side windows. As far as I know there's really no way around it. I had the tint removed for the inspection and retinted the same day ($10 removed, $60 new side tint, $10 fix-it ticket). Not that expensive but definitely an annoyance.

Getting a doctor to agree to fraud- "bullshitting" as you so colorfully put it -is a bit dicey. Still, it's a matter of shopping around.

i have extremely sensative eyes when it comes to bright light and my eye doctor knows i do. How hard would it be for me to get exempt?

All depends on the doctor. I started seeing a new eye doctor 2 years ago and on my first visit, I complained about the sun while driving, he gave me an exemption no problem. Your exemption in Iowa will let you get away with 35% tint on the front side windows.

So what's your point? Each state has their own laws regarding window tint. Just because window tint is legal in Texas doesn't mean it is legal everywhere else .

yea....I was just bragging.... 35% isn't really even dark tho, I wish it was like 20%. We can do whatever tint we want except for the driver and passanger front windows so I usually limo all of the windows cept for those 2 and put 35%. I'd love limo all the way tho

32% in GA, with a 2% tolerance. I have 30 on my car. I like them to pull me over to check it and it reads anywhere from 29-32. But when you look at my car it looks much darker. I guess its because it has the black and blue interior. Stupid pigs wanting to give you a ticket for window tint when theres people dealing crack 10 ft away.
