recirculating, you don't loose as many rpms in the turbo that way and it's quicker to get back up to full boost. Also, it's not as loud which personally I think is tacky and really starting to get played out.

are the bov that vent to the atmosphere the only ones that make the loud pssssst type sound. Do the recirculating bov make a sound?

Yes they both make noises, however, I seriously don't like the thought of forcing air back into the compressor side of the turbo, just isn't doing to for me. I mean sure you'll have a little faster of a spool up, but if you are that worried throw on a small shot and you'll be happy!

I would agree. I would prefer the open air BOV and I do not think that the sound is "played out". That is how I can tell who will be a good race, and who will not.
