front bumper swap

Hey i just got my 96 eclipse rs and i really don't like the front bumper. i was wondering if i could swap the front bumper for a 97 front bumper. i asked a few people and they said that i couldn't do it b/c of the headlights.. everything looks the same to me but i don't know....i'm tired of the bumper always smiling ......thanx

i have seen pictures of a 97 bumper on 96 and it was covering up the edges of the lights

do a search
