new msd ignition

i sent an email to MSD about their DIS2 ignition and they replied that I shoudl use the new DIS2 plus ignition controller part#62112. They also recommend tach adapter part #8912. The DIS2 that I have seen here is part # 6211.

Does anyone know the difference between the two ignitions.

Also where is everyone mounting their ignition boxes. It is getting pretty crowded under the hood there.

I mounted mine where the battery is and relocated the battery to the trunk.

so i have a question on timing retard or maybe just some exaples of what other people have done, seeing as how every engine is diffrent. So i was wondering what others have done with retarding there timing in response to psi raises? say 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, and 25 psi? How far did you retard the timing for this psi? and what did you set your launch time and top end timing at?
