after loosing to a POs lloking 91 civic with a motor swap that my firiend would not show me. ive deciding im going turbo one way or another! he didnt even have exhaust or intake sounded stock when he revved. beat me by alot because i bogged at launce, then 2nd run was cut short because my DP bolts backed off then i sounded like an old VW beattle! but enought of that on to my vague concern/question/im confued

im gonnna find a 16 GSX....but if i cant hw much power would i be making with the slowboy racing kit with stock DSM intercooler at 7 psi? the worst case scenerio is that i have to build up my NT for turbo, adding some low CR pistons with rods and better headgasket within a month or 2. basicaly the only mods my Nt to turbo would have in the worst case would be intake and exhaust at firstand id only run 7 psi in them special cases. im only looking for an estimated crank hp.

under all circumstances i prefer a GSX, i found one for 2500 but the guy said first come first serve and i wont have 2500 till the 5th. any recomendations and opinions would be appreciated.

:dsm: All the way baby

go with the gsx. you will be able to make alot more power it then you would on a gs with a turbo kit

i found another gsx and a galant vr4 for 2500$ each! w00t at this rate on august 5th ill have me a gsx if they dont sell!!!!! i cokpletely lan on going GSX. i love my Nt to death and im not getting rid of it, but i want a GSX as my daily driver, the GS will go to the GF and get a Turbokit later on down the line. shes gonna help me get the gsx, and im gonna help her with th turbokit as well as engine maitnance. man i cant wait! just a week and a half and i "should" be spoolin! :D man im felling like a kidss on xmas eve...why do i have to wait till after dinner?!?!?!?!?!!?!? heheh man only time willtell.

If you put lower CP pisons in your N/T like lets say stock turbo ones? Your motor will be almost identical to a turbo motor. You wont have the oil squirters but that is perfectly fine. You could technically could run as much boost as a stock tsi could handle. THink abuot it....if you can get the GSX then get it because its already turbo and its AWD....

Yeah, go with the GSX. 6bolt GSX is good for 400+hp without a built bottom end. Also the AWD is very nice :)
