as you can see in frame 4 my engine goes super lean. i have already adressed this problem and waiting on parts. My main concern is my throttle position. I double checked the tension on my throttle cabe and adjusted. Just to be sure i held the throttle plate open with my hand and it only went up to 74.xx%. so i am looking at replacing my tps sensor.

As far as the map goes i have some values different from this pull. according to my scanner the computer sees the following values:
1.62 inHg at idle.
2.9 in boost
2.9 while off

I am thinking my scanner is just reading these backwards. I am going to look into this when she cools off.

I had a palm datalogger in the beginning and no matter what I did, WOT was about 75%. Checked and replaced the TPS, checked the throttle cable, removed cruise control... everything. Looking at the butterfly with the intake off, it would open 100% of the way, just the logger wouldn't read it properly. When i switch to MSnS, that read it perfectly. I don't know what kind of logger you're using, but it seems to be having the same issue.

i am using a scan tool. its an otc codebook.

Your TPS is fine. Probing the sensors harness, you should see around ~3.70v when fully open and ~.4-.6v when fully closed. Looking at the voltages compared to a linear 0-5v signal you will find the percentages are the same. (e.g.: 3.70v of 5.00v = 74% / .6v of 5.00v = 12%) All of my loggers did this.

You may want to invest in a wideband to really know how lean/rich your engine's AFR are.

I'll also vouch, tps is fine. An SAFC with our cars will see about 75% as well until calibrated. I guess our sensor voltage is slightly different then most cars.

I am looking into an safc to tune since I don't need a fcd anymore... win. Thanks for the knowledge.

Speaking from personal experience, I wouldn't really bother trying...It will help you tune your idle, but as far as anything in boost/adding fuel, it doesn't work on the 420a. I installed one in hopes of fixing a lean spike I hit under WOT, but I ended up frying a ring anyways :notgood:

Since I'm unemployed and ms is spendy. A safc will let me tune down my injectors. Which is what I need.

You won't need one if you're running under 400cc injectors and a different cam profile. Your profile says you're running a 12:1 fmu? So you don't need a SAFC. If you plan on running more than 10 psi in the future you may want to look building a MS2 (It's the cheapest solution for what it can do) as it will be cheaper down the road for expanding your set up. A new SFMU or apexi neo is $100+ more BTW, not including the price of an ignition controller if you want to make even more HP.

This is assuming you haven't bought a SAFC or SFMU.

I'm never going to boost over 8psi. I don't want rediculous power. I'm not trying to sqeeze every last ounce of power. I am running into a rich misfire problems, I think. I think my 12:1 is too much with the bigger injectors. So I need to go back to stock injectors or change my fmu to a 10:1.
