hey whats up.

my buddy has an eclipse so i joined the forum plus i like to learn about other cars. this is my first turbo car (wrx). so ill post in the n/t section cuz im more familiar with that.

so what does a stock 2nd rs/gs run?

what about with cai and catback?

whats the fastest n/t with all headwork and internals done? (theoritcally)

just for some background these are my past cars in backwords order (from most recent to first)

2004 subaru wrx (5spd)
1969 mustang 302 "the boss" (auto)
2001 mitsubishi eclipse spyder gt (auto/tiptronic)
2002 sentra se-r spec v (6spd)
2000 toyota celica gt (auto)

havent gotten to race any dsms yet. well one it was a 2nd gen eagle talon. turbo charged. i won. i had no ideas what mods he had but i saw a front mount and heard a bov.


how much hp does cai/catback net you guys??? how much whp do you guys have stock stick/auto?

Subaru 2.5 RS Imprezza is the n/a version of the Imprezzas
Mitsubishi RS/GS are the n/a of the Eclipses

Umm dont n/a eclipses whup the shit out of n/a Imprezza (thats not hte j-spec)

not off the line ...and the old school 2.5rs (not the new body styles) run mid 15's bone stock. and they dont lose to stock rs/gs

a stock rs/gs will run in the 16's-17's i believe. the fastest all motor eclipse at the moment runs a 15.3 and there was a guy with a built motor running a 14.6 but he is turbo now from what i hear. our cars are not too fast which is why most people decide to go with nitrous or boost. if you dont mind me asking, why have you had so many cars around teh same model year? do you just get tired of em quick?

i ran a 16.2 completely stock in my car. with aem cold air intake, apexi dunk exhaust, fidanza flywheel, afx underdrive pulley, spec stage 2 clutch, SRD head, 2.5" downpipe, hi-flo cat, and about 250 lbs weight reduction, my best time so far is a 15.6. The trick is just learning how to launch the car, make sure you have good tread, and get rid of any unnesseccary things from the car when u take it to the track.

How is it the fastest n/a ran a 14.6, i find that hard to beleive that it didnt break the 13s. When i finish my dsm (which will be soon thanks santa :laugh: ) You guys let me know what time slip im going to get, but tell me soon because im gonna start buying more parts for my car now
