Xyhpno listed everything that I did, plus a few more mods so I'd say go with it. If you get stuck, we're here to help. Just take it easy for a few days to get the motor used to the boost. I blew up my last motor in one day cause I got it running and an hour later I hit 18psi on a big 16g and ddint have the right mods done. Dont learn from that expensive lesson like I did. Good luck

what other mods other than what he listed???
are the forged pistons really necessary?? i've heard all 4g63 internals are good

1 more question.. how helpful will the haynes manual be when i'm pullin out the block??? will it be good enuff or should i get some professional help?

He listed the turbo intake cam, safc and forged pistons. I still have my non-turbo cams and no safc with stock pistons and stock head gasket.
I live in Vegas (110 days) and I run 15 psi on a 20g, 91 octane, so if you are only going to run 7-8 psi, your safe with stock pistons. But like I said, take it easy for at least a few days. Your patience will pay off.

The Haynes manual is a must with DSM's, but you need to go to a Mitsubishi dealership and get the wiring diagrams for the non-turbo and turbo so you can compare the wires and understand what you are doing.
If you get lost, E-mail me and I can write where every wire goes including pinouts and wiring in the resistor pack for the injectors, as it is tricky if your going by the diagrams.
