turbo rods in nt

i know how ive read the rods in a diesel truck has spiral hole running through them. i was wondering if the turbo rods of like gsx would have the same to run oil straight to the pistons, and if so... do they work on a nt?

i figured they had "oil spitters". damn, i heard those cams i bought will use up some oil so i wanted to just make sure and c if i could get some.

1g "Big rods" are the same for turbo and N/T. The squirters are in the block and are there for cooling the bottom of the pistons.

damnit, o well... i think the pistons should b ok.

They will be, it's more impt to get the air/fuel right to help cool the pistons easier. How many times have you heard of people's cars blowing from broken oil squirters....I rest my case.

I have never heard of oil squirters being a problem.

true, but i was told the piston rings wouldn't last as long. but it will b ok, just a thought.

i had a 90 talon 2.0 n/t and i took that car to 7k revs all the time every day and it didnt wine a bit.

all i did was put 20/50 in the motor. the squirters arent that important. theres guys that take n/t 2.0 blocks and use them for turbo stroker blocks. the lack of oil squirters in the n/t block leaves more clearence for the rods.
