CAI off of ebay

ive seen sum CAI's off of ebay for like 20 bucks....i was just wondering what ppl think about them and if i should purchase one....seems like a good deal....it would work the same as a AEM or a INJEN soo...

heh, i just bought one off of ebay too!! waiting for it to come in....should be here monday or tuesday. Hopefully its a good one! said it was brand spankin new!!

my friend has one, it sounds real nice, not too sure about the quality of the filter, or if he could ne difference.

the filter thats coming with mine is K&N style, and is rechargable!!

i bought one as an extension for my turbo.

it is a piece of shit.. crap aluminum and had two vaccum holes.. we only need one.. had to fill the other one with jb weld.

the intake didn't even look like it would fit where its supposed to go.

the filter that came with it is ok.. nothing special.

The one I got is a great fit. Doesn't seem cheap to me. Can't beat it for the price.

I have one... fit perfectly, it only had one vac hole, filter is also good.

I dont know, I doubt if it really added much performance (CAI adding performance gains is really pretty neglagable anyway), but it sounds cool atleast, and at W0T you really do hear it sucking so maybe. If anything, its going to add more air b/c of more area to suck in through and the bigger diameter pipe.

Ebay CAI's are worth it. I bought one for $40 and eveything held up for me. Sure an AEM intake is going to be better quality, but you pay a lot more! Overall anything is better than the stock airbox perfomance wise!

also with the money you save from buying an expensive injen or aem, you can replace that k&n style with a real k&n or some other nice filter

i got a 2 piece cold-air from ebay for $45. It is pretty loud, fit perfect, and i definently noticed a difference. I dont know about HP but i could break the tires loose easier. It has 1 piece that comes from the TB ou just a little like a short ram, and an extension that goes does into the bumper. I say go for it, but to each his own.
