firebrick OK i have 2 1994 Eagle talons i drive one to work every day, but the other one i am having a problem with. when i try to start it it doesnt fire or get spark but if i put a hot wire from the battery to the red wire on the module on the passenger side of the motor it fires up and runs fine ??? does this sound like a relay or ECM or what?? and another thing i can leave it running and drive it with the hot wire on it with out it dying or any thing... if anyone can answer this i would app it...

2.0 liter and its the module on the end passenger side of the valve cover it has four leads to it and it has the black cover that u can unscrew , in side it has the 2 little like wheels in it its kinda like points its also n/t

Ok, if it's the round modual on the intake(back) cam it's called the cam angle sensor. or cam crank sensor as iv'e heard it called and it should have a yellow-black-red-and blue wire (if i remember right) If this is the same then there is a possibility that the sensor ir self is bad. But on the other hand if you have to put power to the sensor in order for it to work than it might be an ECM. You need to see if your getting power at the red wire with a tester/volt meter. If no then you need to have the ECM tested.. Please note that this is just an opinion and i hope it leads in the right direction!
