I want to route my A/C line with a T-shaped valve so i can attach a hose to it and hook it up to my intake. My AEM CAI has two inlets at the top .One for the Breather and the other i have no clue.the bigger inlet can be used for my project. Now with saying all of this WILL i get water passing thru the hose in to my engine .:dsm: :thumb:

This won't work at all. All that runs through those A/C lines is freon (the gas that makes your A/C cold) you don't want any of that running through your engine.

not only that, but you are pretty much canelling out what you are doing when you think about it. cold air to intake is a good thing like you are thinking...it increases hp. but to produce cold air from the ac, it must be on which results in less hp from more load on engine. so in all actuality you aren't taking a step forward.

There are systems I have heard that they use for computers that are freon systems. Since most of those are custom designs, I think you could hook up a similar design on your car assuming it runs off of dc. They aren't cheap though...

Thanx for the feedback ..Appreciate it alot ..But im not going to crack in to my dash to hook a hose to the intake .Was a though..WINTER is coming and its my first year with my CIA , so im gonna see how things work out..
