Could i beat a GS-T?

I have a 1996 eclipse with the following mods...

Header
Exhaust
Downpipe
JE pistons 10:1 ratio
Eagle rods

If i were to add a 75 wet zex shot could i hang with a gs-t? If not what else would i need to hang with or even beat it? (besides a turbo kit)

Maybe, it depends on the driver and the nods on the car. I'd say you have a really good chance though.

With a 75 shot and those mods you'll hang with a stock/very mildy modded GS-T. If the GS-T has basic bolt-ons then I would say no.

Not with those mods. You'll need to be juicing or get some forced induction on your 2GNT

Man with 75 shots of nos, you will do fine. I ate up a 1g gst running 55 shots and my mods. But the gst was stock with a exhaust. Wasn't built.

with a 75 shot you should beable to beat a near stock gs-t

With the mods you listed and good driving you should be able to take a stock gst.

my friend has a 97 rs with a stage 2 hahn s16g.. when we put it on his car we ran and i beat him.. not buy much but it was pretty close..

unless u are a bad driver u should be able to hang with a gsx.... my awd ran a 15.0 with an air filter and gutted cat but i also had the jitter bugs cuz it was my first time and some pecker got water on my tires but i would think with a 75 shot u would run a mid 14 with good tires and good driving

Add that 75 shot of nitrous on to your car and you will be just as fast.

I use to give a kid crap who owned a 98 Talon NA and we raced after work one day (when my car was totally stock) and he wouldn't get off my back bumper. All he had done to the car was 75 shot (dry), intake, and full exhast (with a six inch tip :laugh: ).

Oh also...

I had my friend race me in my old NA Talon (intake header) when I got my GSX (from a roll, about 35mph) and he got up infront of me (I didn't know we were racing just yet) but when I got on it I left him behind by about 4 cars.

So if you get the drop on em... More advantage to you.

built bottom end is what 140-150 hp with your mods? so with 75 shot you'll touch down 225...cams and valve springs so you can rev out further...say your getting 230...

your car weighs less and can shift later at that point, as long as you have traction i dont see why you cant drag race and drop kick basic turbo cars and hondas with mild swaps.

people seem to be very biased but when you get down to it if the turbo car isnt setup right and you are there toast. i have 205/55/16 tires and a supported evo3 16g...i cant get traction for the life of me and put down WORSE than stock times drag racing.

so what im getting at is i got taken by a prelude with big tires and a bottle. topend is another story but at the street races u could make some caesh

(your car will NOT be reliable if your crazy with the bottle so be safe bro, losing motors sucks)
