Question about chrome

This may sound stupid but i have a greddy header and i was wondering if it was possible to get them dipped in chrome. If yes who does it.

i would think that a bodyshop could do it but i might be wrong. only question i have is why?

haha yea but unless your going for an all out show car, why would you do it? thats all i wanna know. i mean if its what you like thats cool, im just curious

I would be afraid the extreme heat would somehow discolor the chrome.

the heat from the exhaust turns the chrome blue......if you do anything get it ceramacoated......makes it shiny and it won't discolor....and it helps keep the exhaust gas temps where they belong.....in the header not in the engine bay.

Listen to Workin On It, he knows whats goin on. Chrome is hard to take care of, and it will turn blue. It actually looks kinda cool, if you have that color car. It will end up looking like the "blaze" style mufflers AC AutoTechnis makes. Ceramicoating will not fade, discolot, and will keep the heat in better.
