Anyone know anything about the ECU mods on EBAY?

I see them for under $5 and they claim they give up to 20 extra hp to your car. Are these any good?

From what I hear, all that is is a resistor you can actually get at radio shack for like $0.20. I hear it does nothing and can actually damage your engine.

I bought that! It is a resistor. I wuz cursen god in 20 ways when i got it too. If you want to know how to do it just gimme a pm. Its really stupid, don't waste money on it. To me it seems like i get to 7k rmpz a lil faster, but to each his own. If you want to see for yourself then just ask me how its done.

heh, figures. I wonder if we could sue them for false advertisement. Oh well, guess I'll save up for a new intake and headers. Thanks anyways guys.
