Whats the 2nd best mod?

Im going to buy a UDP after my spoiler gets here. I know the UDP is probably the best mod for the money you spend. I was thinking about headers after that, but that isn't the point. I was wondering what you all think adds the most HP for the car for the price, after the UDP. TY

Ummm, I think the UDP is the WORST value for modding, but as long as you like it, go for it. I'd say either a header or intake is a good way to go next.

camshaft, udp, and larger tb. aem cai and headers are good but you need to have a cat back system first. just remember the more air you put in the more exhaust has to be taken out. just dont cut off your cat!!! you need the back pressure on a n/a. get a high flow cat instead.

HOLY CRAP-

I have an Unorthodox Pulley Kit I ordered with a bunch other parts and no shop will install it. I mean nobody. They all said it is much to hard on a NA eclipse!!! I would totally take a shot at it but I am very hesitant about screwing with something like that. Bolt on mods like CAI, headers, short shifter I can handle, but not pulleys. One shop told me that they would have to heat the pulley up and then drop the hole engine out to install it! They said they would also have to drop the engine out for the cam gears I wanted installed. Anyone who has the mods.... please please please tell me or direct me to a place that would help me install this crap. (Sorry for completely jumping off topic but I have been waiting almost a trying to figure out how to install these). A Pulley Kit is completely not worth it (unless you now how to install).

yes your 1g has a udp and yes they do make a aftermarket for it. go with unorthodox or aem if you want quality but af/x is good for the price.

Actually in the 2gnt AFX is the best one out there cause it's 30% underdrive. Tim go to a shop that knows how to do a timing belt. Basicly you remove one engine mount, and then jack the motor down and the pulley becomes fully visible so you can install it. You could get both of these parts installed if you go get your timing belt done. If your going to be in there anyway then you might as well put a new belt in it too.

underdrive pulley (crank pulley) is a lighter weight pulley than your stock pulley. therfore in return allows your engine to not work as hard to run your accs. (ex.=alt., a/c, and any other belt driven accs.) in return your hit your revs quicker and adds quite a impact on the high end. it takes a couple of days for your ecu to figure its working less(3-5 days).

alright the AFX UDP just got installed on my car. And , this is such a sick mod, it gave me very needed low end power and high end power. When I turn my air on it does absolutely nothing to the car. OH ya and to answer your question, if there is an APEXi motorsports around you, they do it for 85.00 Thats where i got mine installed.

Installing the UDP isn't that hard in a 420a, just make sure you read the instructions from the seangordon site. And remember to leave the bolt in when using the 5 ton 3 jaw gear puller but back it out a little bit; this acts as a leverage point for the bolt going through the middle of the gear puller. And you will need a longer than stock crank pulley bolt and washers. If you have a question just PM me.

Does anybody know if there is a street legal UDP for our 2Gs? (If the UDP is street legal part no matter what, I apoligize for my dumbness. Damn California smog laws have me paranoid all the time.)
