Moorhead, MN,
I have a few questions reguarding some parts I was looking to buy on ebay for my 1995 Eagle Talon N/T.

First off, found an obx crank pulley for 95-99 eclipse non-turbo.

This is the same as UDP correct? Also do you think quality is up to par?

Secondly, I found 4-2-1 Headers.

Even if they aren't as good as the name brands will I still get the same general effect or should I stay clear from these?

And lastly a question reguarding some Cat Back Mid Pipes.

I already have a rice muffler, I was wondering if I bought these mid pipes if I would need anything else to have a catback exausht system.

Sorry for the seemingly stupid questions but any help you guys can give me is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

Yeah, the crank pulley is an UDP.

I love the guy with the header saying this:
THIS RACE HEADER WILL DELIVER AT LEAST 18-20 HP TO THE WHEELS

And the mid-pipe seems okay. Its 2.25" so its good for an NT. And you should be able to hook that straight up to your muffler to have a cat-back.

I found a pacesetter header on ebay a few days ago for the same price as the one in the link if you still want a header.

Can you explain the difference between pacesetter and the one I had a link to? I saw several headers didnt know the difference.

thanks for letting me know about the auction's now I will have to bid against you....J/k

the pacesetter is good. i got it, alot of guys will slam on them because they are cheap, you have to do a little fab work to get it to fit, but other than that i noticed a good power gain and haven't had any problems. As for the UDP go to howell automotive and look up their UDP's they are the best. hope that helps

ok when it comes to UDP's...if after you put it on, if your car ideals around 3g's. and its hard to turn....you put the pulley on backwards. gotta love the instructions AFX gives you, oh wait they don't give you any.

well taht header definately looks decent.
it has a flex section and has a nice chrome finish....which will turn blue pretty cquickly which in my opinion looks pretty sweet.
i have a pacesetter and it doesn't have a flex section, just a ball like joint(kinda cheesy but works fine and doesnt squeak or leak so its fine).
i'm going to exhuast wrap my header anyways because it gets way to hot and heats up my intake manifold, so i'm not too worried about the finish. i'm also going to gasket match the exhasut to the ports when i do the exhaust wrap.
i'd say go for the header... and i havent gotten to the others yet(midpipes and udp's) so i'll keep my mouth shut about them.
good luck

I just ordered the pacesetter headers from one of the sponsor sites on here, www.importperformanceparts.net ... while I was looking for headers I saw the ones you mentioned. I can't necessarily say anything good or bad about that seller, since I never actually purchased from them and it wouldn't be right for me to judge them. But with any Ebay auction, just be sure to check feedbacks... I'll just leave it at that. Otherwise the header looks great. :thumb:
