1.8 cam and stuff

I want to beef up my 1.8. I want to do a cam, cam gear, intake manifold, throttle body, injectors, ignition, and computer. Any suggestions on where and what parts to buy would be much appreciated. Feel free to e-mail me.

there is no cam for the 1.8 you can get it grinded but can't get performance one. no cam gear either i've you could use one from the 2.0 engine but not for sure on that one.intake manifold, there really isn't any restriction acually i don't thing there is any in that section, but you can get an intake for the 1.8 thought and you can buy a k&n filter. ummm you can get stock 2.0 injectors but i don't think you want to get any bigger with out any mods. ignition not sure about. computer wouldn't recomend it for our cars. well , it sounds like your trying to get power, there is an lieght weight underdrive pullt u can get. it will give you 8-10hp i just got one and you can notice the power diference. another is an exhaust tell me if your interested and i can give a couple of websites for the exhaust. heres the site for the underdrive pulley.

you can not use a 2.0 cam because the 2.0 is DOHC a seperet cam for the intake and one for the exhaust and your SOHK has to have ONE to do both

ok... the 1.8 is the hardedst dsm to work with. All of the things you listed are pretty much non existant aftermarket-wise. check out the www.dsm1eights.s5.com page and ask around there. also there is a 1.8 section on dsmtalk you should look into getting a better radiator and a nice big intake.
