I noticed that they listed a few things for non turbo dsms in the tuner section of the site. I have a 93 eclipse gs and im wanting to add horsepower for fun. it said replace the manifold w/ a header, exhaust, catback, and air intake... while keeping in naturaly aspirated. i was wondering...

what is the best header for my car?

what is the best exhaust system to fit my car? (im looking for something w/ a low pitch sound and not so much ricy)

what is the best catback (if i decide to keep mine on)

and what would be the best air intake system for my car?

adventually i wanna add nitrous but not for a while.

plus im in the process where i need a new clutch.

what would be a good clutch do upgrade to?

should i get a short throw shifter, if so... who makes a good easy to install shifter for my car?

Im wanting to remodel my car some before school so i can tear a hole in the civics ass that a kid at school shows off.

and w/ these mods do u think i could beat a stock vtec integra?

for the header, most people run pacestter. cheap and you get what you pay for. injen makes an intake, but you should also run a heat sheild with it. you wont really be making enough power to upgrade the stock clutch, but if you do use some laughing gas then an act 2100 should do the job.....you could also do the flywheel if you got some money lyin around..... help it rev a little easier.. another worth while mod would be removing the balance shafts and udp pulleys.
i dunno about exhausts yet.... dont know what i wanna go with....
you should be able to beat a civic si with these things, but i dunno bout an integra .... if its the 1.8 vtec(i may be wrong because im not a honda fan)my cousin has an 93 si vtec and its pretty even between me an him and all i have is a custom intake and header so far.. next i want to do exhaust.... hopefully 2.5 inch all the way back and i might remove the balance shaft too.
good luck with your car man

i was also wondering if upgrading the fuel injectors would help? i dont even know the stock size inmine right now? would there b a reason or would it b worth the upgrade as far as performance notices.

would i need to adjust the ecu if i were to change the injectors. what about a throttle body, is that worth it, what should i look for? would i have to do alot to upgrade that... ecu settings, etc.

i dont think injectors would do much yet.... unless you where goin turbo in the future.... or higher compression.i can feel the header a bit, but once i get an exhaust it should help out a bit more. our throttle bodys are a decent size from factory, and i havent heard good things about aftermarket ones. you could get yours bored out...from 60 to 64 mm, but unless you go turbo or higher compression, i dont think there would be much of a gain. i am goin to gasket match my headers and clean up any rough welds in a few weeks as well as exhaust wrap it, which probably wont do much, but hey, you never know. also check out the nt dsm forum, http://renec.net/~jeff/ntdsmforum/index.php and go to the garage. theres a good article about turbo cams in a non turbo...like which ones have the most aggressive grind, and things to look for. and check out supergoat on there.... i think he's also on this forum, he's done quite a few mods but i think he converted to a turbo now.
