Can anyone tell me what size our stock N/A injectors are??? Would going to a set of turbo injectors be worth while, or any kind of an upgrade??
Thanks Bill

I'm pretty sure they are 250 cc or thereabouts, I have heard you can go up to 310 cc injectors before it floods an NT motor without any or few mods, as for HP, I'm sure it will increase some, but fuel really isnt the problem so much as air, we need more air, although injectors wouldnt hurt any to take the most advantage you would need to find a way to introduce more air(turbocharger, nitrous, ram air, supercharger, whatever)

The stock "blue top" turbo injectors are 450cc. With only a 30HP difference between a N/A and a turbo motor, I would have thought the injector size would be closer. Thanks for the info.

n/t injectors are 240cc. on a n/t i wouldnt go over 335cc injectors and even with that youll need some serious engine mods to support them without running rich as hell

not sure but don't forget that the turbo injectors are all low impedance injectors as opposed to the high impedance injectors that come stock to the nt's.

well, the HP on a stock NT 1g is 135, and a stock 1g turbo is 190(not 210, thats 2g) and I dont see why people think that running bigger injectors will add more HP with just the injectors anyway(even once you get a resistor pack) you'll gain some HP yes, but fuel is not your main concern except when it supports the amount of air in the combustion chamber, theres no point to bigger injectors on a NT unless your runnign nitrous like I said before

What would you guys recomend for use with a dirrect port 100 shot. I'm adding that inthe future so I might as well get set up for it now.

What if you added the turbo ECU, 450cc, and the resistor box? You think the ecu would control it to your advantage. Im thinkin abot doing this i just wanted some feedback. I also have a S-AFC II so i can control if i go rich.

No, the ECU would not be able to handle that because you wouldn't be able to flow enough air. You'd run pig rich. You'd also throw a CEL since you wouldn't have a knock sensor hooked up. If you want to run 450cc injectors, then you'll need a piggyback fuel computer. But, there's really no need to go that high unless you're running very high compression with more displacement and flowing a buttload of air ala modified intake, head, and exhaust. 310cc or 335cc injectors should be fine, and you could control the fuel with an AFC and an AFPR. You might even be able to just use the AFPR alone.
