i'm looking at these same headers i like the price and the look... but right now im debating on the ugly black pacesetter or those.. i really like the stainless steel opposed to black but performance is a big deal 2 , anybody buy them??

yo, another post just came up like this and this is what I post on that thread...

hey, im a big ebayer and i tend to search for eclipse performance parts a lot. I was thinking about getting these before I decided to start saving for a turbo. Anyways, I talked to the seller, and about 10 of his buyers, all the people that bought the header said they were so sweet, and gave them pretty big gains. A couple of guys recommended them over the Greddy Header. I say go for it, its a sick deal and they seem to be making the people that buy them happy

hope that helps, I would have probably got them if I wasnt saving for that big doughnut shaped thing

:dsm: man i got the ugly black pace setter header for my ride and i highly recommend them and another thing to remember is most of the time your buying a name instead of a better product if u take a greddy header(4-2-1) and compare them to the pace setter(4-2-1) their exactly the same.also if ferrari can trust pace setter i'm sure any dsmer can too.

A header is a header for our cars. Whether it be Greddy or an ebay cheap one, it does the same exact thing. Only difference is they say, or people just think in there heads, that a 4-2-1 is better for low end, but tend to lose top end. And a 4-1 gives you great top end, but a loss of low end.

I have an HP 4-1 on my car and i'll tell you, i lost nothing in my low end at all. I did however, gain a better flow for top end, my car seems to run alot smoother at high speeds.

I'd say i'm happy with it only cause it gave me a great exhaust tone. Me being n/t, i have some turbo owners ask me if i'm turbo cause of how deep and low the sound is. Ive heard some n/t's with exhausts and i'll say my car sounds 100x's better than them.

im trying to bid on that right now and someone keeps outbidding me!!!!

get the greddy 4-1 header. mines great, lots of mid power. greddy makes quality stuff, you should be happy with it.

i guess that would work. cant see why not since you would be expaning the exhaust outlet, but the stock exhaust manifold is like a brick. its really bulky and the flow is weird.

I have pace setters and the are not to bad. Mine have the ceramic coating now here is the down fall. The gasket the come with is shit there down pipe I had to replace After 8 months and up here in Canada we have drive clean. With headers your NOX will go through the roof!!!

I've bought the ssautochrome headers. They come with a down pipe also. The downpip to header fit is kinda tight..took me a while to get on..makes it harder since ur laying on the ground unless you have a lift. They're great IMO. They work good, especially around 4000rpm's. Your exhaust also gets a lot deeper. They turn colors though if they're not powder coated. Also, mine came with an extra sensor port. Never figured out wtf it was for. My O2 sensor went in and everything else...So I ended up having a muffler shop weld the hole shut. :)
