I'm looking at buying a 1994 Talon FWD.. Not sure if it's turbo or N/t, and I'm wondering if there's anyway I can tell just by looking at the engine compartment, is the turbo like hidden or anything where you cant see it? I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

Look at the exhaust manifold. If there's a turbo underneath it, it's a turbo.

a boost gauge on the gauge cluster is also a pretty good give away. If it is a talon it should say tsi, unless the badges have been taken off. The exhaust manifold may be hidden under a heat sheild. Also, look through the bumper on the passenger side, if it looks like there is a radiator there then yes it is a turbo, that is the stock side-mount intercooler. Also, the engine compartment of a turbo tends to look "fuller" than a non-turbo, because of the extra plumbing from the turbo, to the intercooler, to the intake manifold.
