throttle body and head gasket?

im going to be getting a ported and polished head for my n/t with a 3 angle valve job.i am goin to put my n/t cams in the head because the head is a turbo head,and i dont have hks cams for it yet.im putting this on the motor with a polished intake manifold but i want to know if i can put a bored throttle body on this set-up for better flow and which head gasket should i use since i have to replace mine anyway.

i was going to get it from import performance parts but now i cracked my block so i cant. i do have to rebuild my block and i will need a new head gasket so i need to know what size i can run with 11:0:1 comp pistons. i figure y its apart i can always put em in now.

Thanks , I just figured out that all the mass amounts of oil pouring down on my exhaust and making my car stink is a bad head gasket. So while I have it completely torn apart Im looking for fun things to do like put on a ported head.

heh, grab those turbo cams while your at it, or aftermarket ones for that matter(turbo ones you can usually pick up used for about 75 though)

i just got my pistons. im sending in th money right now and there mine,ALL MINE.:laugh: i got a set of 10 over strokr pistons from machv. im gonna build thi moto up nice. for ow im gonna put a 91 5 spd turbo exhaust cam in for a little better flow till i g=can get some 272 hks cams. im gonna run a mitsu multi layer head gasket and cleavite bearings with this block. should be fun. ill keep everyoe posted.

Im kinda doin the same thing. I am putting a complete turbo head onto my n/t i am just wondering if this will bolt right up and work?? I sure hope it does while i have the motor apart i am replacing the rings and all bearings and gaskets. This should help shouldnt it??? Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

why would you swap the heads. as long as its a 2.0 its the same damn head except for the cams. the cams are the only difference in these heads. the exhaust mani is different too but thats a given. just get a 2g turbo mani and bolt it up to the n/t 2.0 head, swap out the cams and your done. youll end up with a turbo head configuration.

well considering my n/t head is warped and prob has a couple bent valves thats why im switching heads. does that answer your question

Ive already got one off of a turbo motor i bought for 150 bucks. It should work shouldnt it? Im just taking the whole complete head off and putting the complete turbo head on.

id swap your cams into it. if its a 5spd turbo head from a 91-92 keep the exhaust cam and put your intake cam in. i beleive the 91 turbo exhaust cam is bigger. im puttin one in my car since i have one layin here that is just sittin, but your intake cam is good.

Well i kinda took the valve cover off my n/t and put the hood back down and i guess air got to the cams and they are rusted a lil bit so im just putting the whole turbo head on cams and all. How hard is it to replace valve stem seals?
