Ok i just got an awsome deal on a 98 eclipse N/T. It has the 420A in it but i couldnt beat the price! Now my question is....Why would i not be getting power to the coil pack? I have checked the fuses/ relays and even swapped the computer to see if that was the issue, and yet nothing.

Any ideas??

I don`t know about not getting power to the coil unless you have a broken/bad wire somewhere, however, the most common issue with this Chrysler 420a no spark issue is a failed crank or cam sensor. If the ecu. does not detect 1 of these inputs, the result will be no spark. Also, you will need a scanner to check this . . . While in monitor mode in a scan tool, you need to check that in the cam signal & crank signal present data lines, that they are both (yes). If 1 or both is (no), 1 of those sensors is probably bad . . . :talon:

I have replaced the coil pack, Crank sensor, Cam sensor, and Map sensor. Its got me baffled. I have hooked up a scanner to it and yet nothing.

Also, if the cam & crank signal inputs are not in sync.(this needs to be checked on a scan tool also), It will not generate spark. This happens when the timing belt develops excessive slack or has jumped a tooth causing the cam signal to be late & lose the (sync.), & the ecu. will not generate spark - check out the timing marks on the cams . . . :talon:

This is incorrect. If the timing is off the car will still run. The ECU will take the input from the CAS and CPS and adjust the timing advanced in order to run as good as possible. So it will still run with the timing off as long as it's not way off.
Did you check the ASD relay?

Had the same problem a while back, I parted it out and bought stuff for my other car. I tried everything, im sure i missed the problem(oh well). I made more selling it than i paid.....LOL Good luck
