ebay intake manifold
I was looking for some 420a parts on ebay and i came across this generic intake manifold.. just wanted to post it up to let people know that there is a cheap alternative then the OBX route.. save about 100 dollars

My condolences to anyone who uses that manifold.
There is a whole list of supporting vendors who make quality products specifically for DSM's; in some cases, they custom fabricate whatever it is you need to your specifications. Granted, these things cost a little more, but honestly, when I compare a JMFab intake manifold to something found on Ebay (like the one above), the choice is VERY clear to me, even on my poor excuse for a budget. Wow...

True, but as far as I know, JMFab, nor any of the other vendors currently offer an intake manifold for the 420A.

True, and I understand that the 420a doesn't have as much vendor support as the 4g63. But I dislike how people will support inferior products made by companies who could care less about the cars they're put on, simply because they're cheaper. It seems to be a disease afflicting DSM'ers of all types, both 420a and 4g63 drivers alike. I was just using JMFab as an example.

I agree that the welds dont look great.. but i think it would be good for someone who is n/a.. probably not good at all for boosted applications..
sorry man but someone like me and probably alot of other 420a guys dont have 450 dollars to spend on a JMFab intake manifold... if we had 4g63's that is..
as far as i know there are only 2 other IM's that are available for the 420a venom ($500) and obx ($200)..

You can go in between that and get an AMM (All Motor Mike) intake. Great quality and it works really well.

only a flow bench would tell me that....... im under the impression that if u could work some good full radius velocity stacks onto the stock runners that it would yield a little more cfm.
