I have a 96 Talon ESi I was wondering what is the best exhaust system I can get for the most HP? And what mod would get me the most torque? Thanks

for an exhaust i have talked to a lot of people about this i m having a tenzo dual dtm muffler put on w/ a custom cat-back of 2 1/2 inch piping put on mine. most of the people i have talked to have said that the muffler doesnt really make a big difference as long as it is a performance muffler, some people have said though that the ravens made by midas give better performance than the others but everyone i have talked to has said that having a custom cat-back is the best way to go for money and performance

If you are looking at going cheap and have no mods, start with a GS-T muffler on your stock exhaust and get a cold-air intake. If you have more to spend, get no more than a 2.5" maximum. Any of the major exhaust companies for us will do fine so you might as well go with asthetics or have a local shop build you something for cheaper. The exhaust is not what is really holding you back to begin with anyway.

theres no point of putting a car back on a 2g na eclipse.. we have the same piping as the GSTs... id say just get a muffler.. the gst muffler is a good cheap way to go

well I personally have a 2.5" pacesetter catback w/ an OBX muff welded on and while it may be a little loud my exhaust is deeper than the apexi' N1 and Greddy. I also saw a small gain when putting it on, i also put my gsx rims and tires on at the same time, but im sure the gain would have been more noticeable had i waited.

oh yeah a couple of guys in my car club should still have their muff from when they upgraded to a larger exhaust. So if thats the route you wanna take just email me and I'll ask for you. We are in NC anyway so it couldnt get easier than that
