replacing my clutch. i need to get the axles out of the hub. i got the rotors off and i've been bangin at it with a rubber hammer. it will not budge. need help. i've reached a problem in my installation.

Which side are you stuck on? Most of the time you can just take a crow bar or pry bar and pry the base of the axle out of the transmission. If you cant get the axle out of the hub then take the upper control arm out and the tie rod end. Then you should be able to move the hub enough to wiggle the axle out. Don't hit the axle too hard or you will mushroom the end!

If you have to, remove the hub with the axle, and have a shop press it out.

thats a good idea. i just may have to remove all that and the hub. i have a 3 jaw puller and a impact wrench, it supposed to push out the axle from the hub. thanx alot..
