i know this aint the turbo section but i cant post in there yet so im posting in here, i was wondering if anyone has the turbo kit for the 420a from the website www.advancedjdmparts.com if so is it a piece or a somewhat good thing to get, and if so it has no instructions could u give me pictures on how to set it all up

It looks like your basic eBay turbo kit, with a knock-off wastegate, BOV, and turbo... and of course, no provisions for fuel control. I don't doubt that you could get this to work, but if you're in the market for a good turbo kit, invest in something with better components.

Well it all looks like ebay to me, so If you are looking for that type of direction, why don't you head over to ebay and see if you can't price out the same parts for cheaper.

FYI: its not a complete kit either. You would still need to figure out your fuel setup. which for 8psi would probably be walbro 255 fuel pump and a 12:1 FMU.

It probaly is a POS, but it looks like it has potential for someone on a budget, (but I would look to ebay first, if I were in that position)

well i already have a 255 fuel pump and a new fuel regulator, but have you ever seen this turbo kit on any car or ever heard of this kit

nope, I have never heard of this turbo kit or seen it on anyone's car, however I have seen many other kits sold just like it on ebay that are labeld (JDM TURBO KIT) and those words right there should let you know that it probably wasn't made in Japan and most likely made somewhere near by though (china, taiwan, korea, etc)

Feel free to give it a shot and make sure you do a write up on it.

But seriously it looks like the company just found a supplier (the same ones supplying the turbo kits to ebay vendors) and put a bunch of peices together so they could have a turbo kit application for some cars. Which isn't a bad idea for some people.

well ill go out on a limb and try it out, if it doesnt work i know i can use everything but the IC piping, but i can just fab that myself, becuase i seen it comes with prebent pipes already, ill write wheter it works or not
