MBC on a DUAL WASTEGATE

I wanted to know what kind of MBC i can buy so i can raise my boost up I had bought a crappy MBC for like 20 bucks and some how it didnt work they had told me that the TURBO XS Boost Controller Works great on Dual internal waste gate but I just want some opinions on what should i go with. That would actually work

Do you mean a dual-port internal wastegate? For some reason, I don't think you have two wastegates.

try a hallman boost controller, or check at ci motorsports for their boost controller as well (but call to make sure they have it in stock and find out when it will ship out.)

turbo xs is a great one as well, just try not to pay retail for it ya know...expensive .

I think he is talking about external wastegates with top and side vaccum ports. OP, if this is the case, how did you hookup the $20 one?

I didn't read through the entire thread but if the internal diagram you posted in post #11 is factual, this is simply an REVERSED external wastegate. When using a mbc, mbc should be connected to the top port with the bottom port vented to the atmosphere. The second diagram in the same post is for an EBC.

BTW that Ebay TurboSmart knock off doesn't work.

Haha thanks, but I'm kinda against "the man".

I didn't know if the solution was later mentioned in that thread, I kinda got lost half way through.

Ok, I read it some more, the correct way is post #25, the problem is that mbc has been proven not to work many times in other threads. OP, get a solid BALL AND SPRING mbc (not TurboXS) and hook it up like a single wastegate and treat the bottom port as if it doesn't exist at all like your diagram in post #25 in your other thread.

They had told me number 2 was the corrrect way to setup the MBC so i did and the MBC does not work So my answer is maybe the MBC i bought Sucks so that why i am thinking of buying a turbo xs or a good MBC unless i give it one more try, what is the correct way to setup the MBC again 1234

Secondly #2 is incorrect (would have been correct if you had an Electronic Boost Controller), hell none of them is correct, did you click on the link above for the correct answer?

Lastly, is there a reason why you like to make people repeat the same thing multiple times? It's almost as if you didn't read any of my above posts.

Welcome to the 420a forum .

As has been stated multiple times. Get a new boost controller! After you have a decently functioning one, then you can worry about how to hook the thing up (which has incidentally already been answered many times as well).
