need help with belts

What kind of belts are you guy using? for your power steering and alternator belts mine keep on snaping
another thing oil leak in between the head and the valve cover
need to fix this problem before putting my car in the dyno
mods
fully built motor
hahn racecraft portfuler system
just order my new fans 14" 2000cfm car was over heating

I use DAYCO belts. I don't know of any other actually. Hell I'm about to just convert my pullies into sprocket and belt into chain. Bet it won't snap then.

Make sure your accessories turn freely, and that they have no shaft play.
Check pulley alignment, you may have a bent bracket.
Make sure the belt's tension is correct.

If everything is correct, you shouldn't have a problem even running with cheap-o belts.

I have some Goodyear Gatorbacks for mine. My return line to the oil pan was in the way of the bracket, so I just have a straight belt from the crank to the power steering. Check if you have the right groove belt for your pulleys. I belive they are 5 groove.

DAYCOs have worked fine for me...

By the way, I think 14" fans are too large; I've heard, but not tested, that 12" fans are the largest possible size.
