Throttle Body

i have a question ,

In the throttle body there are 2 black long hoses that goes from right to left and one of them is connected to a small black box on the left side, but the other one is not connected to anything.
Is that hose suppose to be connected to something?

I can't say I'm 100 percent sure what you're talking about. I'd check mine for you but my whole motor is torn apart at the moment, although I'm sure there's a few slight differences between my 95 talon 420a and a 99 eclipse 420a. I'd try looking at a Hayne's manual. My dad and I have Hayne's manuals for every car we've ever worked on, and sometimes they're pretty useful.

I bet those lines go to the cruise control box and EGR system, but decide for yourself...
