cylinder 4 misfire code need answers please

i have a 98 gs and i keep getting a cylinder 4 misfire. i replaced the plugs, wires, coil pack, fixed the harness, and still get the code. after i did all that and reset the ecu i stoped for a couple days then it happened again, but it only did it in the mornings when cold and at night. now it starts to bling then go off it don't seem to mis but something is setting the light off and bugs me.think it's time for new ecu? thanks in advance

p.s i have just a intake filter on the stock pipe and a cheap raptor muffler that was on the car when i bought it w/ stock tires and ran a 10.83 on the 1/8 mile with a 2.4 60ft. am i up to par with my time or should i be faster?oh yeah it's a 5-speed...thanks again

u probably forgot to gap the spark plugs

no i have gapped the plugs i'm not a total dumbass. but i had this problem before i changed everything.

ck your egr valve, lines and fittings. on the 420a engine your egr system is hooked right into cylinder 4, it could be reverse flowing, or not operating as advertised. hope info helps....
