What is the difference between an RS and a GS? 2G eclipse

Sideskirts, matched door handles, matched mirrors, optional spoiler, wheels, swaybars, not sure what else.

yeah what they said... skirts, color coded handles...
larger wheels, front/rear discs (no drums), rear sway bar (i think), and the power accessories/cruise.

RS's come with drums, no rear window wiper, no sideskirts, black mirrors and door handles, non-power antenna, power windows, door locks, and mirrors are optional, no abs, 14" rims, no armrest, no rear swaybar. I think thats it, we call mine the 3/4 GS since I have an armrest, rear swaybar, disc brakes, and 17s

Don't forget! GS are heavier then RS, due to all the extra goodies

Mechcanically, their identical besides the drums. Just buy yourself a Rs & save some dough & weight. I wish I had, since I plan on putting a body kit on after turboing. I'm not even goin' to need my sideskirts anymore then.

I dunno, i can't deal with drum brakes, they're such a b**ch to service, and add to that power windows/locks, which i'd definitely want, and i'd be hard pressed to find a reason why i shouldn't spend a bit extra money for the GS over an RS.

The only advantage i could see is weight... how much is the weight difference?
