Do they make a working LSD for our cars yet? Last I heard the OBX LSD didn't fit correctly and I'm having trouble finding out if they fixed that problem? All I can find from Quaife or Kaaz is 4g63 LSD's.
 
phantom grip and quaife both have working LSD's for our cars :thumb:
 
If Mopar makes a LSD for the 3.55 trans we can use in the 2GNT, then I'd be willing to bet it would fit the 2GNT.

Even so, why is a LSD conversation unique to turbo 2GNTs? Come on. You have to go through 2G Bolt on to get to this forum. Why not actually post something where it belongs? :toobad:

You're notorius for putting in your two sense. I think you'll find that at least 30% of the things posted in this forum could actually be put into the bolt on area. This thread has been answered so no point in beating a dead horse.

Found this website too. If you can't find it under mitsubshi, click on the honda lsd link on the left and it should list it there as well.

www.amcparts.net, They've got the full working LSD for $550, ebay has the Hercal (or something like that) going for $450.

I'd would also like to add in that phantom grip, while it does serve its purpose and does a great job at doing it, is not an LSD, because it has no limited cababilities, it is always on full lock.
 
thanks sounds good... When you say Phantom Grips arent limited does it mean both wheels are always locked in and dont spin independently, instead of transferring power to the wheel with the most traction? If so, what problem would this create that makes limited slips better?

Well, now we're up to four cents. You have a point. Subjects like thermal coatings and "Hey everyone! I popped my motor!" Aren't turbo conversion-specific. Now, if someone asks if their turbo engine would benefit from performance coatings or their engine popped after running a whole year at 10lbs on stock internals, then it might warrant being up there. In any case, as someone who wants to raise the bar in the DSM community, I'm going to continue to assist the moderatorship in keeping things in this area where they belong. I'll be sure to do my best to remain fair so as not to hurt anyone's feelings, okay? :shhh:
