Has that cap that plugs the hole for (I forgot the name of it, that tube that use to connect from the intake to the cat for emissions that got recalled) ever fallen off for you? Mine has disappeared/fallen off/got lost at the shop, and I don't know the best way to cap it off, I got a 1/2" PVC cap but it barley snaps on at the end of the cap and before I hammer it on, I'd like to know if this is the right size, because I don't want to bend anything.

i used a little rubber cap that goes on one of those door stops. you know the ones that look like springs and make the funny noise. it fits like a charm and i haven't had any problems with it yet.

So did both of yours fall off like mine did? Jason, where did you get one big enough to fit? I know exactly what your talking about but the ones in my houes are pretty tiny :|

Heh, what kind of filter is that small? If I were you, I'd cap it off, it would be defeating the hole purpose of the cold air extension, since it would from the pressure decrease inside the pipe suck in a lot of hot air from the engine compartment.

True...

I capped mine off by using a little rubber plug...

Thought about running a filter on it but i thought that it would defeat the purpose of the filter on the end...

How you like the tone of your aem?

Where can you get a little rubber plug at ?

I love the tone of AEM's CAI, especially once you hit 4k rpm's, my friends say they can hear me from a mile away and that "it sounds sooo good", people also ask me what kind of exhaust I have, yet I haven't put my catback on yet, so it's still stock exhaust.

you can probably find a rubber plug at the plumming section of a local hardware store. i got my plug from a door stop display at lowes harware store. i just took it off the display and walked out.

no cylindrical definately sounds good. you should make a thread on kool words. thats different.
