Ok, i was in the AOL chat room called "street racing" for about 30 minutes & as soon as i mentioned that i had a 2gnt, a group of dumb####s started bashing me. they were telling me the same bs we get from turbo guys...."why dont u jus buy a gsx??" and 420a's are garbage even with turbo youll get nowhere fast. i wanted to come over to dsmtuners and get some back up or somethin. i told one of the dumb####s my goals are 13 sec quarter mile times and he started going off with his BS. that guy supossely had a 10 second N/a car, he didnt mention what car it was i called BS on him tho. Then another dumb#### started saying that gst's are garbage. then the dumb#### that had started telling me to get a gsx told me that i must be a ricer cuz i have an rs. people like them are the reason i dont sell my rs and get a gsx!!!!!!!!! i asked them if they would feel stupid losing to an rs or gs, they said yes, and i said thats y im keeping my rs so i can make people like u feel stupid and make me happy. then they started with BS again. I cant believe a dumb#### said Gst's are slow, the made me .......sorry if i posted in the wrong spot moderators, but i jus wanted to post where i know 420a tuners would see it!-

I dont understand why these people feel the need to come and bash on us like they do.. i mean really if you think about it its like comparing apples and ornges because even though we have the same style car they are two completly differnt motors, to me its like some guy with a chevy going on a ford site and saying my cars better then your, so you should get rid of it and and get one like mine why cant they fight amongst themselvels... or maby bother the 1 gen turbos

My only question is why the hell would you care about what Internet people say? There are some serious issues there if you take what Internet Dorks (people you will never meet or even talk to in real life) say to heart. i didnt get upset because of what internet people say, i get that bull shit in real life too. i get it from some assholes around town. some people jus need to be quiet and let us do what we gotta do. of course its gonna be hard to make our cars fast, were starting off at a 16.5 and 140 hp. now if someone with our car can pull a 13.5 with 275hp thats really impressive.

Just about any car can be made fast. The key is not to swing from the nuts of Bill Hahn. Your 420a represents your personal choice and your indaviduality. Quoting Bill Hahns time does not make you stand out. Bill ran a 10.87 but he also ran a 12.7 at the shootout. What you should do is worry about making your car fast and don't worry about Bill. 13s are not quick, yes they are very respectable for a 420a. The thing is, do you want to be respectable for being a 420a or do you want to just be respectable?

I'm not saying this to start a flame war just to give some honest advice. There are several people building 420As who have the potential to run 12s or better and there are also a few dipshits who give you guys a bad name. The key is to represent your car in a positive light. Your always going to have people who don't like it or understand it, but they don't have to. It's your car, your choice so if it ends up being fast or not is your business not thiers.

Just make sure you know who your taking advice from in the 420a world. Make sure they are not full of it or lying about thier car. There are quite a few people on here and 2GNT who can guide you to making your car faster, just watch out for the dipshits and liars.

tell those guys to eat a dick .. you could have bought a turbo awd 1g for the same money as your n/t 2g I'm sure. I used to knock the 420As all the time as well. Now I actually bought one as a daily driver. They are great cars, and the fact that they are not fast doesn't mean anything. As stated before ... with money you can make any car fast and it all depends on what your goals are. IF you want to run 12s or 13s a 420A is fine for just that. I used to think the best they would ever do is 14s, but I've seen some run faster than that. It's hard to make a 420A truely "FAST" but for what it is you can really make them move and respectable among other NA 4 cyl. guys. Just keep at it and don't let those chatroom dumbasses bother you.
