Where can i get a turbo???

i have a 90' plymouth laser 2.0 16 valve rs n/t and want to get a turbo. where can i find a turbo for my car that isn't really expensize. and please don't say sell car for a turbo version....

The best (and about the only) place is Hahn Racecraft. But it's NOT cheap, and nowhere will be. That's why everybody always says it's better to buy a turbo car. You'll spend less money in the long run.

check dsmtrader.com as well as the classifieds... sometimes there's a kit on there too... but if I were you, I'd contact some of the turbo manufacturers and see what types of kits they have... they'll be able to hook you up with something. Hahn is probably your best bet.

can't he just get a 14b and and get the intercooler from a 1g too and what ever else he might need?

i went to hahn and i coudln't find a turbo for a 1g laser. all they had were upgrades for the turbo version. if they do have the turbo there for my car then tell me where its at. thanks

Most people who research this topic come to the conclusion that it is cheaper to sell the NT and purchase a turbocharged DSM, rather than attempt to convert the NT to turbocharged form. Read all about it here and here. It has been pointed out that the difference between a turbo FWD and a non-turbo FWD 1G DSM was roughly $1000 in 1998 - suffice it to say that the conversion will be significantly more than that.

HEY, Theres 2 guys on ebay selling everything from 14b turbo, manifold, downpipe, intercooler, etc etc etc. Everything you need to turbocharge a N/A. They were both at under $300 when i looked last nite...
