winnipeg,
Any one installed motor mounts and inserts? If so let me know how hard it is to install and which mounts are important ie: front , rear, top left, tranny mounts....also any difference in launching and the interior vibration?

check out rre tech area. they have instructions on how do a mod for the motor mounts. I think it also has install tips

I installed the full prothane motor mount kit on my car, I tell ya that was the biggest PITA mod on this car so far. I spent 2 days on my garage floor with a big hammer, a chisel, a big flat head screw driver, a drill and lotsa frustration. I tore the hell outta my conrete floor to. Was it worth it. well kinda my rear was busted anyways, benefits from a high rpm clutch drop hardly non to not much wheel hop and now my motor is perfectly aligned in my engine bay no more slanting to the passenger side.

Motor Mounts = PITA

I just finished mine. Took me about 8 hours. The side mounts are what gives you trouble. they have no movement when they are in their housing. Thus, making it hard to align the front and rear ones. Here is how I put mine back together.

The front was the hardest to align. So I did that one first. The front mount is on the lower crossmember. I unbolted the front 2 bolts on the crossmember. This gave me some play to align the others. Then I put the one above the tranny in. Make sure you don't torque the bolts yet, just get them through and put the nut on the end. Then I put the back one in. I was raising and lowering the engine constantly through this, so don't think its going to be a snap. The Passanger side mount was easy, but the bolt didn't want to go into the threads. After all the mounts are aligned, bolt the crossmember back to the frame. Then torque everything down. I hope this will help someone. I haven't got to start it yet, cause I don't have my Intake Manifold.

i replaced my radiator and installed the motor mount inserts in about an hour with handtools and a floor jack.after dropping my car putting fatter tires and the motormount inserts i still got wheelhop.  it did get better dough.

wow, good job. Radiator is easy, but I'm not stupid and it took a while to do those stupid mounts. Guess Speedy is a good name ;)
