Okay, most of you know that I'm in the market for a new P/P head and oversized valves. This head on ebay comes complete with "racing cams" and is garunteed to make 45 hp on a non-turbo? Is that even possible with just a head swap? I was hoping 20-25 hp at the most...

Anyway, his setup features 2mm oversized valves. Is this to severe? Is 1mm oversized optimal for a dialy driver, or should I consider runnning 2mm over? Like, will I need a fuel managment system w/2mm over? Advantages/Disadvantages?

Also... He offers a "stage 2" camshaft setup. I have only planned on modifying my intake camshaft w/264's because I have heard there is no real performance gain from the exhaust cam... Should I add 264's to the exhaust cam in the future for more power, or should the turbo exhaust cam be enough?

I just wanted to know what you thought about this setup for a head and if it is plausible.

I was thinking his P/P head w/2mm oversized valves and maybe 264/264's?

Here is an auction for some of his regrind cams: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33614&item=2480070531

Thanks for your input and advice!

Not sure when it comes to the 4g63, but I know that some would say that even going 1mm OS on the valves isn't necessary. It's not stopping me from going that route, but still, using terms like "racing cams" and "stage 2" or claiming 45hp bolt on like that is super sketchy imo. Maybe you'd get 45 on a fully built bottom end with higher CR and a fully tuned intake and exhaust set up. I wouldn't do it.
