i have a 95 gs...and my reverse lights dont work. i have checked all the simple things and i think is is the reverse switch on top of the transmission case?? anyone ever replaced this and how could i clean it?? could someone put some detail in their post on how to remove it. i can remove the electrical connection but im not sure about the whole switch??? also where could i get a new one????

Just disconnect the plug, get a deep-well socket that fits it, ot a wrench and unscrew. I put a little bit of teflon tape on the threads when I put the new one in.

I dont think that it would be in your best interest to "clean" the sensor. Just buy a new one. It really east to fix.

Just unscrew it like a typical bolt, mine came off pretty easy.

Has anyone deleted their switch altogether? No one needs to know when I'm backing up LOL.

I beg to differ.

Why would you care more about that than the fact it's easier to see with lights when backing at night? A simple LED mod can net you some amazing results for backup lights.

Unless this is an all track car then excuse the hell outta me, but not having lights for a DD can bring only regret.
